Please read these Terms of Service completely while using AGGA.CA which is owned and operated by ALBERTA GREENHOUSE GROWERS ASSOCIATION (AGGA). This Agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to the use of the Site at agga.ca.

By using or accessing this Site in any way, viewing or browsing this Site, or adding your own content to this Site, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this Site.

If you use a submission form within the member section of the site, or a Contact form on the public pages of the site, the information collected will also include any information you enter on the form(s).

We use and disclose your information only for the purposes for which the information was collected, except as authorized by law. For example, we may use contact information to deliver goods or messages. The law also allows us to use that contact information for the purpose of collecting a debt owed to our organization, should that be necessary.

If we wish to use or disclose your information for any new business purpose, we will ask for your consent.

How do we safeguard your information?

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that your information is accurate and complete. We rely on you to notify us if there is a change to your information that may affect your relationship with our organization. If you are aware of an error in our information about you, please let us know and we will correct it wherever possible.

We protect your information in a manner appropriate for the sensitivity of the information. We make every reasonable effort to prevent any loss, misuse, disclosure or modification of information, as well as any unauthorized access to your information.

We use appropriate security measures when destroying information, including permanently deleting electronic records.  Note that member profiles created on this site are purged after 2 years of inactivity.

We retain your information only as long as is reasonable to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected or for legal or business purposes.

Complaints

Any complaints may be sent to Member Services. There is no guarantee of a resolution. Each case will be looked at individually.

Intellectual Property

The Site and all of its original content are the sole property of Alberta Greenhouse Growers Association (AGGA) and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws.

Termination

AGGA reserves the right to terminate your access to the Site, without any advance notice.

Our Site contains a number of links to other websites and online resources that are not owned or controlled by AGGA.  AGGA has no control over, and therefore cannot assume responsibility for, the content or general practices of any of these third party sites and/or services. Therefore, we strongly advise you to read the entire terms and conditions and privacy policy of any site that you visit as a result of following a link that is posted on our site.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed in accordance with the laws in the province of Alberta, Canada.

Changes to This Agreement

AGGA reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated Terms on the Site. Your decision to continue to visit and make use of the Site after such changes have been made constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms of Service. Therefore, we ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this Agreement or any changes we make to this Agreement, we ask and advise that you do not use or continue to access agga.ca immediately.
