Coco Fiber/Coir (August 2010)

Coco fiber (coir) has been used in Alberta for the past decade to grow greenhouse vegetable crops. Different types of coir are available as pre-bagged material or bulk and one can make their own bags. Bags can be bought pre-washed or growers wash them before planting.
