He has promoted the Alberta Greenhouse Industry at every level of his business. Dietrich Kuhlmann presented the award.

There were two awards given out this year; Michiel Verheul – High Q Greenhouses, Morinville, AB and Ron Prins – TR Greenhouses, Lacombe AB

He has found top quality speakers and brought them to Alberta so that all of us could benefit from them
Ron Prins of TR Greenhouses in Lacombe grows tomatoes and cucumbers for Pik-N-Pak and for farmers markets. He is an outstanding manager in many aspects of greenhouse operations. He is the first grower who has tried to develop a good greenhouse organic hydroponic system for cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce. He is always ready to share information.
